Do neural networks have dreams? If computers could perceive their own history, what would cling to it in their subconscious? Tomas Roček's visual essay oscillates among the iconic images from the imaginary memory of the media held in their genetic code Muybridge, Duchamp and Turing. It evokes an intuitive space of mechanical and organic, a fusion of feelings, mechanics and computational operations in a single interconnected world of devices and humans. Transmission is a new version of an earlier work that the author has modified for placement on three monitors.

Tomáš Roček is a graduate of FAMU's CAS and repeatedly discusses the communication of humane and inhumane actors in his videos.
