Inspired by Ibsen's Brand, the piece traces how military occupation and economic precarity hollow out the father — once provider and protector — into absence. Where Brand's rigidity was a freedom he chose, these fathers are shaped by forces beyond their control: what if they, too, could choose to protect, provide, remain?

That same loss of control runs through the piece as water — from the tap at home to the sea, held under the same grip, the same watching eye. Through movement, sound and materials, performers move between control, care and resistance. A space of collective witnessing, where body and matter resist indoctrination and open room for responsibility.
