One of the most famous quotes from the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard says, “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” It’s no wonder that before almost every important decision, we feel apprehensive because we don’t know what will follow. There is undoubtedly something instinctual about it. Worries are simply a part of all of us. They can be big or small, personal or generational. There is then no greater event than when we find the courage to overcome our fear. All of this, we – flesh and bone people – put into our characters and stories, secretly hoping that at least someone will understand us. And we hope that it will be you who understands us.
