For the eighth time, Konektiv Nights brings new musical connections that link the diverse genres and cultures from which the participating musicians come. Radical combinations of diverse creative approaches open up space for surprising and exciting results, while clearly rejecting prejudices against foreigners and minorities.

Unpredictable soundscapes, alternately gentle and ominous, connect minimalist jazz with experimental improvisation in a collaboration between Prague producer Ursula Sereghy and Brazilian double bassist Luan Gonçalves.

Contemplative approaches come together in the collaboration between British-Malaysian musician Theo Alexander and Czech composer and performer Lucie Vítková, whose sound dialogue is based on layering subtle moods and shifting perspectives.

The collaboration between producer and member of the Estrogun collective Buggieby and grindcore musician Mike Iannucci serves up a playful and at times ear-splitting collage that shifts from pop melodies to crushing chords to sleepless, extreme beats.
