“Plastic souls of fictitious characters Lot, Kot, Spot, Mrek, Še and Mario find a new reality in perversity and absurdity. We aim to create any capricious effect desired. Anybody can make love with any person they desire or wish for. Go to bed with Catherine the Great, with Marilyn Monroe. Everything is as vivid as the words you are now reading and totally realistic. A phone, a fax machine and a good airport are all you need to have it.” Krepsko came into being as an improvisation ensemble with a fixed number of performers standing to benefit especially from the total non-heterogeneity of the actors. Krepsko is above all a situation theatre - breaking down the pictures arising on stage and splitting the inspiration of the individual actors into mutually irrational reactions resulting in absurd situations. The Krepsko ensemble create situations, but beyond this, they look for ways how to warp them. Decomposition or destruction of the dramatic situation thus opens a wide field for new impulses and reassesses the form of a play as such. Besides message and narration, the Krepsko ensemble wishes to allow its audience a wider space for understanding and interpreting, as well to give them pleasure through viewing. They do also try to find a form for these purposes that is cheerful and interesting.
